English is an international Language but having two sides American and Britain approaches. and it can be confusing for both native and non-native speakers across the globe. some of it is commonly used in daily life. like the words:- any one v/s anyone , turtle v/s tortoise, look & watch & see , and narrator v/s author, say v/s talk. 1. Put & Keep

In the list of 25 Easily confusing words in English, here comes Put & Keep first. most of you would be surprised even that these are two different words. 
Keep - refers to Long term action  or continuing a work in a specified state. It is also used to give a specified instructions followed by away, back, out, off, etc.  
 For examples:- We keep food in fridge. , Keep your eyes on the road while crossing it. , Keep out this dog of my room. 
Put - refers to move something or someone in a particular place or position. It is also used to express something in words.  It may also be used to cause someone or something to be in particular condition or situation. 
Here we may conclude that Put is used to refer a temporary or short term action while Keep refers to a permanent or long term action.

2House and Home 

In the list of 25 Easily confusing words in English, here we have House and Home. This is also the common mistake we often do or be wrong while using it. 
House refers to a building in which someone lives. A four walled structures that are supposed for living purpose  without sense of owning it. But Home refers to that building that is emotionally attached to us, or we live with our family and belongs to us. 
It is not necessary that home would be a building only. A place where you feel the most comfortable and that belongs to you, then it is your home.

3Narrator and Author

Narrator refers to the character created by author , or it is the person in the essay who is telling the story, it can be first person , second or third person. It is an unknown entity who is telling the story of one, two or many. 
Author  refers to the the person who writes the story , and characterise all the character in its story. Narrator is also the part of those characters. Author is the creator of narrator to show emotions, actions , conflicts, and dialogue , so that he can create an imaginary world for the plot of story.

4Taxi and Autorickshaw

Here we have a new word which we are confused in daily life. And it falls in 4th no. of our list of 25 Easily confusing words in English. 
Autorickshaw, is a modern form of rickshaw that was used to be pulled with hand . Being urbanised with technology , motor fitted vehicle with three wheels are used . Here one fact for you, that it was started first in 1931 and today Bajaj Auto of India is the worlds largest Autorickshaw producer.
Taxi , unlike autorickshaw it is not three wheeled, it is a car used for public transport. Unlike autorickshaw, it has not many stops. It follows certain routes to transport. 

5Look and Watch & See

Here we have a new word which we are confused in daily life. And it falls in 5th no. of our list of 25 Easily confusing words in English. Generally, we use any of them as we want. But it is wrong. these three have different aspects. 
Look ,  refers to  direct our eyes in a particular direction or also when paying attention or giving concentration to something. 
Watch, is used when we are looking at something or somebody for a long period. And the object is in motion in some way. 
See, is used when anything which see usually or say automatically. We have no any particular intention to see but it comes in our sight and our eyes detect it . So See is used as general term.

6. Assure & Ensure & Insure

At no 6 here comes Assure & Ensure & Insure in the list of 25 Easily confusing words in English. Something little pronounced nearly same but are different beyond our thoughts.
Assure 
Assure is something you would do to a person or an animal. It is something done to remove doubts . You can remove  these doubts by assuring them,which is  by giving them assurance. 
Ensure 
When you ensure something, you’re making sure it is going to happen or guarantee that it will happen.
Insure
To insure something or someone is to cover it with an insurance policy, a kind of agreement that states that if something happens to someone or something that’s insured, the insurance company will provide compensation.

7. E.g. & i.e.

"i.e" means "in other words" or "that is" and "Eg" means "for example". Confusion arises between these words because they are both used to clarify something previously mentioned in a sentence. However, they are not the same.
The abbreviation "eg" is used to provide an example.The abbreviation "ie" is used to restate an idea more clearly or offer more information. (It can usually be substituted with in other words.)If you confuse "eg" and "ie," your sentence will still likely be grammatically correct. However, getting them wrong will change the meaning of your sentence.

8. Affect & Effect

Affect is usually a verb. Simply put, affect means to impact on or influence. Affect, when employed as a verb, most commonly carries the meaning of "to produce a material influence upon or alteration in."
Effect means a result or outcome. Effect is usually a noun. An effect is "a change that results when something is done or happens," or "a particular feeling or mood created by something."

9.Lose & Loose
The main difference between lose and loose are that loose is an adjective that we use to show which is not fit, tight or free or you can so in context of  not contained. 
Whereas Lose is a verb related with a refrence lose anything or say something missing. 

10. Good & Well

Good is an adjective and we know adjective describes a noun. 
Whenever use good it refers to tell the quality of a noun only.
For example- you are a good player. (In this sentence which use good to tell the quality of the player which is a noun)

Well is an adverb and and as you know adverb describes a verb another adverb for an adjective.
Whenever reuse well it refers to tell the quality of of a verb or adjective or say another adverb. 
For example- you play well. (In this sentence we use well to tell the quality of play a which is a verb).

11.Stationery & Stationary

Stationary is an adjective. It means table off fixed. 
For example - It is difficult for me to sit stationary.

Stationery is a noun which means material use for writing purpose.
For Example-  can you drop me to a stationery shop.

12.Before and ago

Before is used when there is present and not time period given. Your time is unknown and we talk about past event  but sentence is in present tense.
For example- Have you gone to cinema hall before? (No time period is given and sentence is also in present)

AGo is an expression of of Refffering of finished time and unlike before its sentence is always in in past tense. We have a given period of time or a time expression is available.
For example- I went cinema hall 2 years ago (sentences also given is in past tense and time period also mentioned)


Bonus- other and another

Other is used as an adjective or pronoun. It is used to to talk about second thing of given two things. Means to say if you use other you are talking about second thing from the two things.
For example -  I cannot find my other shoe (in this sentence we use other because we are talking about about second shoe of two shoes.)

Another means one more or additional  or alternatives. Means to say using another refers to an additional (unlike other not talking about second).
For example - Get another plate .(it means talking about additional aur one more plate)
