Gurukul & Modern Education- You prefer?
Education has been important to us since ancient times. It helps people not only to learn new things but also helpful to see various interesting and unbelievable things occurring around the surroundings. In ancient times, with the help of education, the cultures were extending day by day with new techniques. In India, it is so interesting to hear about the education system. It is very different from other countries. So, before reading it broadly we will divide it into two categories, i.e., Ancient education and modern education. So without wasting time let’s start with the first topic.

ANCIENT EDUCATION or Gurukul
Ancient education of India or gurukul describes that in ancient times, what type of education was and how was it helpful. This type of education was in our country in which children from the age of 5 years to approx. 21 to 23 years read and the teachers make them compatible with the external environment and general awareness.
In ancient India, the gurukuls were held by ‘Acharya’ who teach students. Gurukul system was like that there were 18 subjects used to teach and each subject taught for approx. one year in such a way that they got all the informative things they had to want. These subjects were including all the subjects which we use to read now i.e. Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry as well as Astrological studies also and so on. The interesting and pointable fact is that they were given almost 17 years to complete it.
MODERN SCHOOL
As we read how modern schools were established in India. Now, we first understand what modern school is. So, before understanding it, we first understand the related factor of modern school i.e., modern education. This term is always regarded with technology, if we go forward in our life the term technology will be everywhere. It is similar to the modern school. In modern school, we learn about the surroundings, we learn basic things. We learn for our future, survival, we learn for being an educated person, and so on.
Which one was beneficial?
After reading the above topics, we will find that both ancient education or gurukul and the school have different types of getting an education. The advantages of modern education are that it helps make our work easier directly or indirectly but we will find that in this we can’t take make our work a better future without a degree in the society of educational growth. The main disadvantage is the ‘degree’ you have to get without it, you are valueless in this educational world. This is also for the reason of suicide in our country but in gurukul, we found that this made our country the latest country in the world.Now you are cleared that which one is important.
